Make a Gift in honor of Joe Gfaller
On October 27, Joe Gfaller will conclude his tenure at Metro Theater Company after four and a half years of serving MTC and the young people of the St. Louis region as our Managing Director to become the new Managing Director at Clear Space Theatre Company, a regional theater in Rehoboth Beach Delaware. It is bittersweet news for MTC, but we are thrilled for his next chapter – and grateful that MTC will be among the many wonderful organizations that will have shaped his career as it progresses in the decades ahead.
During Joe’s tenure, MTC adapted to the many complexities of the COVID-19 pandemic, innovating to develop new virtual programming (and reaching young people in classrooms across North America as a result), and becoming the first professional theater to safely resume productions for live audiences. MTC’s annual operating revenues have grown over 40% since his arrival in 2019, and under his leadership, a new endowment fund has been created to ensure long-term sustainability of access to schools and districts with limited means across our region.
We invite you to join us in saluting Joe’s contributions to Metro Theater Company with a gift. We will be celebrating him at a special toast for our VIPs at our upcoming fall family festival on October 22 at 1pm – please consider joining us!
