Finley’s Friends
“Finley’s Friends” watching the Jan 14 rehearsal.
Learning about the costume designs of Spells of the Sea.
Metro Theater Company is excited to launch "Finley's Friends!" We are looking for students, 11-18 years old, who have a love for theater and the performing arts, are interested in learning about the many different jobs that are part of creating a new musical, and would like to join us for a fun, informal, and free experience. In Spells of the Sea, Finley goes on an adventure to find the Elixir of Life.
Participants will enjoy an inside look into the design and rehearsal process of a new musical Spells of the Sea, have opportunities to provide feedback, and assist in the show's surrounding educational content. Spells of the Sea kicks off rehearsals in January, premieres at the Grandel Theatre on February 5, and runs through March 5.
You can sign up for any or all of the four “Finley’s Friends” sessions. Each session is unique and is a stand alone experience. No theater experience is required.
