What do you love about Metro Theater Company?
I love the artistic programming and integrity of the work produced. Metro doesn't shy away from difficult topics that students need to see on stage. Metro gives a space for unique stories and themes to be explored, celebrated, and challenged with support, community, and care.

What did you enjoy about directing Ghost?
Infusing the script with music and movement. Special shout out to Heather Beal and Jackie Sharp. I enjoyed the physicality of the show and the energy and intensity the cast brought to the story. (Most rewarding moment is seeing a student audience dance in their seats and make comments during the race scenes!)

How have you been coping with the pandemic?
Limiting social media, making time to move and get sunlight, and remembering the phrase my grandmother had on a plaque posted on her wall ... take one day at a time.
