COVID-19 Health and Safety

At Metro Theater Company, we care about the health, wellness, and enjoyment of all our patrons, staff, and artists. As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 health crisis, our policies are guided by public health recommendations for our region. Should caseloads dramatically shift during the run of Spells of the Sea, the following policies may adjust in the best interest of protecting audiences. Effective January 2, 2023, below are our recommendations for our patrons to help ensure that you and our artists remain safe and healthy when visiting Metro Theater Company.

Proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test is no longer required to attend performances.

To protect artists on stage, the first two rows of seating at the Grandel are not available for sale. To ensure that our shows continue for the enjoyment of all, we strongly recommend that patrons wear a mask during MTC performances, and that if you are feeling unwell, please stay at home and exchange your tickets for a different day when you are feeling better. Tickets can be exchanged to a later performance time until showtime for each performance. We will make every effort to ensure your new tickets are comparable to your original tickets, but cannot guarantee if availability does not permit.

All MTC personnel in the building are vaccinated.

Please note that every Saturday at 4 pm performance of Go, Dog. Go! offer socially distant seating for those with heightened medical concerns. Because The Big Top is an open-air venue, mask wearing is encouraged but not required.

These plans are subject to change.

All purchases are final. Should you not be able to attend, live performance tickets can be exchanged into a different live or virtual performance ticket at any time.
